1. Who operates StickerMe
StickerMe is provided by Yuliia Otmakhova (“we”). For privacy questions or data requests, contact julia.artvision@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
Saved sticker packs, memes, caricatures, source images needed for editing or repeats, People profiles, profile photos, and creation settings are stored in the app's local storage. Ready-made stickers are bundled with the app. You can delete saved creations and profiles in the app. Uninstalling StickerMe removes its local library and profiles. StickerMe does not upload your entire photo library.
3. Cloud creation
When you choose to generate content, we send the selected photo or a reduced copy and the settings you provided to our Google Firebase backend. Sticker and caricature generation can include a selected person's profile details and reference photos. Meme generation uses a reduced photo for caption ideas; final meme rendering stays on your device. The backend sends the relevant input to the OpenAI API to produce the requested result. We do not use submitted photos or profile details for advertising.
Temporary source request files are deleted after successful generation and when a submission is rejected; a separate automatic cleanup removes orphaned files if deletion is interrupted. Completed results remain in private temporary cloud storage until the app downloads and acknowledges them. We then delete the cloud copies; unclaimed results are scheduled for cleanup 7 days after generation completes. A meme result may include the selected photo needed to reconstruct it. We keep a random generation ID, request fingerprint, job status, usage records, and credit balance to deliver work, prevent duplicate charges, and enforce free limits. These non-media records can remain after you uninstall the app.
4. Anonymous identity and purchases
StickerMe creates an anonymous Firebase identifier so the server can recognize your free allowances, jobs, and credit wallet. You are not asked to create a name-and-password account. A device-only Keychain credential can survive an app reinstall; it does not restore deleted local creations. Apple processes in-app payments. RevenueCat receives your anonymous app identifier and purchase details such as product ID, transaction ID, date, and purchase or refund status so credits can be delivered. We do not receive your payment-card number.
5. Service providers and technical data
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud provide anonymous authentication, job processing, temporary media storage, and usage records. They may process technical data such as IP address and request time to provide and secure the service.
- OpenAI processes selected creation inputs and outputs to generate images or captions. OpenAI's API data policies, including any abuse-monitoring retention, apply to that processing.
- RevenueCat manages purchase events and links Apple transactions to your anonymous identifier. It also uses purchase history and the approximate country derived from your IP address for purchase analytics; your exact location is not requested.
- Apple processes App Store purchases and optional Photos or sharing actions you choose.
We require providers receiving your personal information to protect it to the same standard as this policy. Their processing is governed by applicable confidentiality, security, and data-protection commitments: Firebase data-processing terms, OpenAI data-processing terms, and RevenueCat data-processing terms. These safeguards apply alongside the providers’ disclosed legal and abuse-monitoring retention obligations.
Processing may occur outside your country. We use these providers to run StickerMe; we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.
6. Your choices and deletion
Cloud AI processing requires your permission. You can withdraw it in StickerMe Settings. This pauses photo uploads and retries that have not been sent; jobs already accepted by the server may finish and remain available for downloading or deletion. You can keep using local editing and ready-made stickers without cloud AI permission.
You can manage camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings. You can delete creations and People profiles inside StickerMe or uninstall the app to remove local data. In Settings, choose Delete cloud account to delete your anonymous Firebase account, its generation records, and temporary cloud media. The app then creates a fresh guest identity if you keep using it. Unused credits and unfinished generations on the deleted account are lost; creations already saved on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. We may retain limited transaction and security records when required for refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations. 7. Children and changes
StickerMe is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us. We may update this policy as the app changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
